Cellar guide:
Up to 6 years
Last tasted:
2002, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
The Yalumba Hand Picked Tri-centenary Grenache 2001 is deep cherry red in colour. The nose is rich and generous offering dark cherries and ripe raspberries with hints of mixed spice and sweet liquorice. The palate is full and rich showing sweet berries, cinnamon and cloves and finishing with fine tannins. The wine can be consumed now but will reward medium-term cellaring as the palate further develops.
