The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Vintage quality:
Above average rainfall leading up to the summer combined with a warm and dry February and March allowed grapes to retain excellent balance and flavour.
Cellar guide:
10+ Years
Last tasted:
February 2007, Peter Gambetta, Winemaker
Notes:
Yalumba The Menzies 2003 has crimson red hues. The aroma is reminiscent of briar and brambles with lashings of berry fruits and high notes of sweet vanilla oak. The palate opens with the berry fruits building to a complex meld of fruit and savoury briar notes and finishes with soft, velvety tannins.
