Barossa

The Galway Vintage Reserve Claret Percy Smith Blend Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz

Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 1964 PS

Vintage quality:
The vintage was warm and dry.
Cellar guide:
10-30 years
Last tasted:
November 2003, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
Mahogany brown in colour. Subtle red fruit notes are still evident on the nose along with a choc-caramel influence. A spicy wine on the palate that shows a solid oak influence with a firmer tannin backbone and longer finish than the 'Oliver Jenkinson' also made from vintage 1964.
