Barossa

The Galway Reserve Claret Eric Mackenzie Blend Barossa Shiraz

Shiraz 1968 EM

Vintage quality:
The vintage was very hot with rain.
Cellar guide:
10-25 years
Last tasted:
November 2003, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
Deep tawny brown in colour. The soft, developed aromas have a mature fruit note and underlying meaty accents. Sweet, earthy flavours evolve in the mouth with a liquorice all-sorts character. The finish carries a tarry oak note with good tannin structure still showing.
