The Signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz

Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 1988

Vintage quality:
The vintage was warm and very dry, causing ripe varietal Cabernet Sauvignon flavours. Awards and Accolades: 4 Gold
Cellar guide:
20+ years
Last tasted:
November 2003, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
Plenty of dark, chocolate aromas greet the nose, intermingled with the scent of ripe plum fruits. A complex wine on the palate with briary, meaty nuances allied to the rich mocha and brooding berry fruit flavours. A chunky style with plenty of tongue-coating tannin on the long, astringent finish.
