The Signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz

Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 2002

Vintage quality:
The 2002 vintage was indeed exemplary. The weather remained mild and dry over the long ripening period, with the end result being wines with great colour, varietal flavours and intensity. Awards and Accolades: 2 Gold
Cellar guide:
8-12 Years
Last tasted:
May 2004, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
The Signature 2002 is a dense, plum red colour, that abounds with dark brooding aromas of black fruits, plum and currants, with suggestions of liquorice and spice tightly interwoven with creamy oak. Long, smooth and silky flavours fill the plump concentrated palate. Powerful but restrained, the wine finishes with a mouthful of fine layered tannins.
