The Signature Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz

Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 2008

Vintage quality:
A vintage of extremes, dry weather followed heavy winter rains with a major heatwave commencing on March 10th. Thankfully most of the grapes were in the winery and no adverse effects were seen. A great year for The Signature. Awards and Accolades: 2 Trophy, 5 Gold
Cellar guide:
10+ Years
Last tasted:
March 2010, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
The Signature 2008 is dark red with purple hues. The aroma shows characters of sweet spices, cedar earth and tar, and dusty berries. The palate has a rich Cabernet Sauvignon mouthfeel with dark curranty Shiraz mid-palate tannins. The finish is very persistent, combining great power with elegance. The palate shows structure with great ageing potential.
