Barossa

The Signature

Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz 2009

Vintage quality:
Good winter rainfall was followed by a very warm, dry spring and summer. Despite very warm late January temperatures, the Barossa region produced some excellent aromatic parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, the perfect style for The Signature.
Cellar guide:
Decant and enjoy now or cellar to 2039.
Last tasted:
Andrew Caillard
Notes:
Superbly well-developed wine with inky deep cassis, praline, mocha flavours, lovely mid-palate volume, dense grainy tannins and underlying marzipan, roasted walnut, tobacco notes. A lovely firm muscular finish with attractive chocolaty/ dark berry fruits.
