Yalumba Tri-Centenary Barossa Grenache

Grenache 2008

Vintage quality:
The 2008 vintage was a time of extremes. The lead up to harvest was wet, resulting in the vines looking healthy and fresh through the rest of the dry season.
Cellar guide:
5-10 Years
Last tasted:
July 2014, Kevin Glastonbury, Winemaker
Notes:
The wine shows expansive aromas, from roses, Turkish delight, black cherry, earthiness and hints of mushroom. Always complex, the palate is layered, vibrant, long and powdery. Tannin, acid and fruit are all in balance. Expressive and fresh, with several years left in the cellar.
