This wine sits firmly in the modern Syrah style showcasing fragrant aromatics typical of its Eden Valley provenance. Wild fermented, this is a perfumed and seductive medium bodied wine with whole bunch spice and elegant restraint.
Tasting Note Aromatic and floral with aromas of rose, red cherry, wood spices and mixed red berries. Complex fruit flavours dance across the long, lingering palate. A delicious medium bodied wine with fine, elegant tannins.
Terroir The grapes have been sourced from two Eden Valley vineyards notable for pristine refinement and elegance of style.
Treatment Matured for 14 months in older French oak puncheons.

Accolades

Nice textural aspects of bunchy nuance
A juicy, contemporary syrah style featuring crunchy red plum, dark cherry and blueberry fruits. Hints of citrus blossom, exotic spice, cola, teacake, dried citrus rind, blueberry pie and apple turnover. There's some nice textural aspects of bunchy nuance (30% whole bunch) and super fruit intensity while retaining a sense of buoyancy, chalky tannin grip and a lively flow of pure dark and black fruits on the exit.

Deep red-purple colour with a big raspberry, cassis, milled pepper and slightly eucalyptus/mint nose; it's medium-full bodied and modest persistence. It has a touch of elegance. An attractively aromatic spicy shiraz that drinks well now but also has cellar potential.
