This light-bodied and highly aromatic wine shows the bright Barossa Grenache flavours at their individual best.
Tasting Note Deep in colour with a bright garnet hue. This fruit dominant wine opens with lively cherry, raspberry and red forest fruits layered over floral rose notes. Time in the glass reveals intriguing aromas of Mediterranean herbs, nettle and anise. Medium-bodied and juicy with superb balance between fruit and spice offering freshness and softness with an underlying power supported by mouth-coating tannins.
Terroir Scattered across the Barossa Valley floor, a number of special old, bush vine Grenache vineyards contribute to this wine. A range of terroir, including climate and soil types, can be found at each site, helping to make this individual and intriguing style of Grenache.
Best Enjoyed With This wine was made to be paired with food. It pairs exceptionally well with a brown mushroom steak drizzled with truffle oil and served over a bed of pesto sauce.

Mid-ruby with aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant fruits cut with gingery spice, pressed purple flowers, dried orange rind, exotic spice and earth. Plenty of space and spicy detail on the palate with billowing, powdery tannins and a sprightly mineral line. Super value here.

Lovely wine. Great for drinking. It presents an attractive mix of savouriness, spiciness and fruitiness, the latter in the red cherry/raspberry area, the former a mix of earth, woodsmoke and roasted woodsy spices. Any day of the week, I’d be happy drinking this.
