The Menzies Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Vintage quality:
Above average rainfall in spring was followed by warm days and cool nights through the ripening period, which lead to grapes easily reaching full ripeness. Awards & Accolades: 5 Gold
Cellar guide:
Up to 15 years
Last tasted:
2013, Peter Gambetta, Winemaker
Notes:
The 2010 vintage was outstanding in the Coonawarra, and is certainly one to collect. The Menzies 2010 displays intense violet floras and cigar box on the nose, with a full bodied palate of rich cassis blackcurrant fruit and dark berries.
