A time capsule in a glass, this precious fortified wine has a minimum average age of 30 years. Exclusive to our Cellar Door and online wine shop, our 30 Year Old Antique Aged Tawny is one of three wines in our limited-release Aged Fortified Collection.
Tasting Note Complex aromas of sweet spices, caramelised toffee, fig, raisins, quince and roasted nuts. The palate is richly flavoured with fruitcake, dark chocolate and brûlée. The richness and weight of the palate are held in harmony by the spirit and acid balance delivering a long, persistent finish.
Treatment During the ageing process, between 2-3% of the wine will evaporate each year. Combined with maturation over 30 years, the wines are rich and concentrated, and meticulously blended.
Best Enjoyed With Chocolate hazelnut cake with praline chocolate crunch. Refrigerate after opening to best maintain freshness.

Yalumba Aged Fortified Collection

In the 1960s, our winemakers set aside small parcels of the very best Yalumba Tawnies for extended ageing in barrels crafted by our coopers. Each year, the barrels set free a tiny percentage of their contents through evaporation – the angels’ share – and after two, three or even five decades the wines became rich and concentrated.

Our limited-release Aged Fortified Collection salutes our tenacity, resilience and entrepreneurial spark throughout five generations of family winemaking.
